The Department of Engineering Cybernetics has a vacancy for a 4-year PhD research fellowship within the automatic control program.
We are seeking candidates with a strong background in systems and control or applied mathematics for research on control and estimation for distributed-parameter systems. While the research topic is initially broad, a specific objective of the project is to develop state- and parameter estimation schemes for application within medical imaging based on ultrasound. Experience with medical imaging is therefore an advantage, but not required. The applicant should possess strong computing capabilities and communication skills in English. 09 Jan, 2011
