In its annual survey of college tuition, the Chronicle of Higher Education revealed that about 60 colleges now charge students more than $50,000 a year. The most expensive colleges? Sarah Lawrence ($55,788), Georgetown University ($52,161), New York University ($51,993), and George Washington University ($51,755.) While each school may offer grants and other financial aid to help lower the sticker price, the published cost of education continues to rise at twice the rate of inflation.
